Accessibility

We are actively working to improve the accessibility and usability of this site and in this activity we adhere to the available standards and best practices.
To meet the requirements and criteria for accessibility levels set by the European Commission on public administration websites, while meeting the requirements of current Internet technologies, we will adhere to WCAG 2.0 standards and the Double-A compliance level “.

Web Accessibility Initiative
This site will attempt to cover double-A accessibility levels according to the latest World Wide Web Consortium standards – Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0

(WCAG 2.0), using best practices and techniques. WCAG 2.0 explains how to make website content more accessible. Implementing the guidelines will help more people feel comfortable and reap the benefits of the Internet.

W3C Standards
This site is built with code compliant with the W3C standards for XHTML and CSS. It is correctly reproduced in currently available web browsers and its use guarantees compatibility with future new or improved browsers.

Exceptions
While we strive to ensure compatibility with available accessibility standards, this is not always possible in every aspect. Browsers and web development and access techniques are evolving very quickly and sometimes some of the standard accessibility requirements become redundant.

In this light, we are constantly developing this portal technologically in order to achieve high standards of accessibility and usability of its content.
